One of the things in internet marketing, whether it is affiliate marketing or marketing your own product is developing a good strategy so you don't keep getting distracted by everything online.

I personally like to Surf Traffic Exchanges and  Safelists for my traffic but I also need a strategy to keep focused and not get distracted by all the offers out there.

Firstly I add my affiliate URL that I am promoting to about 20 Traffic exchanges, then I begin to surf. I place them in 20 different tabs in Google Chrome then I flick between the tabs before the timer has run out. I do that because I do not wish to waste time looking at all of the websites. Try not to get distracted.

I do not stay on the traffic exchange to view it as this is only going to waste my time.   I also have upgraded in a few at a really cheap price so as not to have to surf all of the time and still get good traffic. 

You surf to get credits. In most cases a credit is worth one visitor to your site. I would suggest that you upgrade in a few so you get faster surf timer and higher credits sometimes free accounts make you surf  2-3 surfs to get 1 credit, but if you upgrade you are often given a 1-1 ratio and a faster timer. let me give you an example. I bought a few credits from a couple of Traffic exchanges and I got around 6000 HITS to my website in one  Day. That was just from traffic exchanges. Now I averages about 1000 Hits per day because I allow my credits to be spaced out over a longer period now. Even during that time I still surfed as well to keep the credits up a bit.

 If you only wish to promote one site then you are often allowed to place your site 3 to 10 times depending on the allotted allowance of websites the Traffic exchanges let you have. This way you get greater coverage. It is often recommended that you promote MLM 

sites because people are often looking for ways to make money and this is the primary way to do in in traffic exchanges. 

I also use Safelists. You can get a lot of traffic from safelists if you do it properly. Most safelists ask for two email addresses. They are usually gmail accounts. One is called a Contact Email and the other is List Email. make sure that you DO NOT USE YOUR NORMAL EMAIL ACCOUNT FOR THIS. Because you will get literally hundreds of emails per day.  They will ask you to verify your email in both the contact email and your list emails. 

The Contact email is the most important for you to have because that is where they will send their SOLO Emails. 

A Solo Email is an email that someone has paid for and they give higher credits. to you when you click.  Remember for safelists (a credit worth one email that you can send out).

If you have never used a Safelist before it can be confusing. I know when I first started out I tried safelists, but I quickly became confused. No one explained them to me and I did not know how to place an email or know how many emails to send out at any time I gave up using them (bad move). I also did not know the difference between Contact Emails or List Emails. Stay away from list emails they will only waste your time, instead just click solo ads in your Contact Email 

In each email they send you in your Contact Email (Which remember has the Solo ads and they gives you higher credits to go through, in some cases up to 1500 credits per solo email) (as opposed to only 10 in the free ones which are in the list email).

In each email they send you their is a link that says click here for credits. What you do is click on that email and wait for it to load then move to the next email you do this fairly quickly so as to not get distracted by the emails. 

I know you are probably thinking "OK but what if everybody does that? no one would look at your site". The thing is, not everybody works to a strategy like this, and that is why Traffic Exchanges and Safelists are so good. With safelists you want to be able to email to at least 100 000 people per day. This may require you to sign up to about 50 to 60 safelists. That is for free members. If you upgrade to a few then you can send more emails and have higher credits and  therefore use less safelists. 

Some safelists let their free members send email everyday and others let you send one every 3 -7 days. This is why it is important to sign up to around 50-60 safelists. Remember if you want less to use with more credits then you need to upgrade a few.

Remember only use the contact email for the contact email section in the safelist sign up form and use the list email for the list email in the sign up form. If you want to create a new email I Would suggest that you use your personal name then the word contact then @gmail.com. For example 

yournamecontact@gmail.com and for the list try using yournamelist@gmail.com this way their is less confusion.

Bulk Submissions, Are They Worth It

Hi in this post I am going to explain the benefits of submitting ads in bulk as well as the dangers.

Their is nothing wrong with bulk submitting however, not everything should be submitted in bulk. One of the things that will hurt your credibility is duplicate content. Some of the things I recommend for bulk submission are things like

1. Classified ads. People go to the ad site to look for what is on offer. You may not get that submission ranked with Google but you will still be seen by lots of potential buyers because they are looking on the site any way. Ad Bot from Incansoft is a great little tool that will help you submit to around 20 classified ad sites. If the Classified ad site is a paid site it will bring it up and you can choose to submit to it or not. BaOnCall Will submit to over 10 000 classified ads for you. I am very happy with their service as I received over 650 hits in only 10 days just from this one paid source. I do not usually like to go for paid sources, but this one I have used a couple of times now and I will probably continue to use them again.    
2. Video Tutorials. You can go to Tubemogul now known as Oneload . You can submit your videos to  about 11 different video sites. just make sure that you go in and change the description section for the videos as it could be seen as duplicate. this should only take about 15 minutes.
3. Blog Comments: Comment Kahuna is a great way to comment on blogs. The thing I like about Comment Kahuna They bring up a huge list of sites that you can view and then make a comment. Remember, comments only take a couple of minutes just make it relevant to the blog and do not be rude or you will probably be blocked by the blog owner.  Also if you do it wrong you are actually hurting your chances of getting any traffic at all. What you do need to do is actually read the blog and make a thoughtful comment on it so you will not be kick off. So be careful
4. Social media: Onlywire is a great bulk method for delivering content to social media sites. The best part about these is that the free version allows you to submit to about 35 social media outlets like Facebook Twitter as well as Linked in. And Quite a few you may not have heard of. But the down side is that you can only use it for a limited amount of posts. once they are up you will need to upgrade  on a monthly basis to keep it going. The best part about that is is not expensive to upgrade
5. Traffic Exchanges: The Best Traffic Exchange bulk submitter that I have found is called TE-JV. If you take up the One Time Special Offer or OTO For Short, then you can get 50 000 credits. Now in case you are not aware 1 credit equates to 1 click on your site. Now if you have 50 000 credits then you can do the math. That means that 50 000 hits are going to go to your site. Do not worry it is spread out of a period of time. TE-JV submit to around 50 traffic exchanges and about 800 other sites. 6.  Safelists are another great form of traffic and easy to bulk submit to as well. you can chose to sign up   to around 30 safe lists and click on the solo emails all day to get the credits you need, so you can post your ads to around 100 000 people or you can bulk submit them to 2.7 million emails per day just fill in the subject line the body and place a link and then hit submit and you are done 15 minutes max. no checking out emails of other people or anything like that. just write the email and hit send. These are just a few That you can bulk submit to. Now the ones you SHOULD NOT TRY AND bulk submit too are things like 

1. Article Directories. The reason is most people do not go to Ezine Articles or any other article directory to find info. You need to rely on Google to rank your info as being keyword rich and good unique content enough to be seen on 1st page. And that will not happen if you send the same article out to multiple sites. in fact if you did that you would probably be rejected my most of the article directories. Now do not despair their are ways around them (and I have a link below to help as well as a video directly below ) but it is not exactly automatic and requires some hard work. You can rewrite a number of the same article and submit them manually or you can spin them but it does require you to do a lot of the work yourself. how ever if you can spend the time to make sure your spun content is unique and readable and able to make sense hundreds of times then  You can submit it to as many directories as possible. Make sure your spinner has the ability to send your unique content out to hundreds of article directories.
2. Press releases: are very much like articles don't bulk submit them. unless you change a large portion of the text.

If you have ever considered traffic exchanges to make money. Here are a few tips that you might like to know.

Firstly let me say from the onset that not every type of niche will work with traffic exchanges. Most people who join Traffic Exchanges join to get traffic to their website and surf quickly through to get as many views as possible. With the right stratagy and products you can make quite a lot of money.

One of the things you will notice when you start surfing Traffic Exchanges, is that you will find a lot of sites promoting other traffic exchanges. That is because as you will learn, you don't rely on just one Traffic Exchange to Get the traffic you need. Often you have to surf around 10 to 15 traffic exchanges to get any real traffic. check out the image of my actual stats counter. It shows that I am getting an increasing amount of traffic. that is because I surf around 15 sites to get the traffic I need. On the 2nd of December 2012 I had reached over 627 hits to my site, on the 3rd of december it did not quite make it as high as I wanted. but i was busy and i did not surf that day

As you can see by the dates I have not been tracking these sites for long and they are consistantly increasing in clicks.  So how am I doing this? well it is quite simple I use three paid traffic exchanges and I surf 15 traffic exchanges for about an hour.

Below is a screen shot of the next day and a half. check the stats the on the 4th it went to 778  hits. The downward trend on the 5th is because it is early in the country that the stats were taken and it is already over 100 hits. I will show you the hits in the next screen capture

I will show you the hits for the 5th in the next screen capture above you can see that the traffic from traffic exchanges are increasing.

now that i have established that it is not hard to get good traffic from traffic exchanges lets go on to the tips

1. Be sure to use splash pages not optin pages.

A splash page is just a page that gives your viewer an option to get something for free by pressing a button, and they then get sent to a sales page where they are given an opportunity to upgrade for more benifits. The reason you should not use optin pages is because people are viewing sites quickly, so it has to make an impact.

     2.   Promote things that make surfing easier

People generally are looking for ways to make the task of surfing easier. they hear about the internet lifestyle but do not realize it is going to take a bit of effort to make that money. so promoting something that will make their life easier is going to make it easier for you. click on the banner below as it is such a site.

Have you ever considered traffic exchanges as a valid way to gain traffic. I know I didn't for a long time. mostly because no one really explained how to use them.

I have just started to use them and I must admit it does take a lot of time if you are not willing to pay for the traffic.

Now if you are considering using traffic exchanges be aware that you will not get a lot of sign ups but you will get a huge click rate. lots of people cliking on your site from different locations equate to a higher page rank.

The basic principle of traffic exchanges are this. You surf the web using a traffic exchange in view of gaining credits. Usually one credit that you get from surfing equals one person looking at your site.  If you wish to be a free member you can enter your affillate URL into them. I would suggest to sign up to at least 6 of them. 

My suggestion would be to create a basic list capture page, with an autoresponder, so that you can take peoples details. 

People who have been in internet marketing for any length of time will tell you that the money is in the list.

You will need to give something for free which is of value to your customers, to encourage them sign up, that can be a video course or a free ebook. You can find lots of resourses like ebooks and videos from plr sites.

Make sure that you include the affiliate url in your autoresponder. 

You can place an autoresponder code into html section of a blog and you can promote your free blog onto all six traffic exchanges.

If you have Windows 7 internet Explorer or Firefox, it is just a matter of placing the sites in six different tabs on the one window. You then just jump between all six traffic exchanges effortly by clicking between the tabs. and clicking on the buttons or icons they give you to click on.

Remember traffic exchanges allow you to get better page ranking as well as encourage you  to gain sign ups. A lot of traffic exchanges promote each other. You might wish to do this as well as this can become another sourse of revenue for you as well.

If you are a free member you need to surf a thousand websites that take 10 seconds each. Before you can add your website url.

The only reason I say this is the easiest, is because it does the auto surfing for you. After you have entered the capture letters into the site a couple of times the ads just start to roll through with out you having to do a thing. You do need to check on it occasionally, because sometimes people use exit pop ups and this can pause it. Also every 30 to fifty surfs, you are to re-enter the capture letters to prove you are not a peace of software trying to cheat the system. 

Once you have surfed a thousand sites you can enter your url. remember this is done with little effort from you. 

Other traffic exchanges do not expect you to surf that many times before you can enter your url, but they do not promise a million visitors to your site either.  

Now before you think that Google will slap you because you suddenly have too many visitors to your site. Free Million Autosurf only allow a thousand hits per day, for any given site. Now that is a thousand views for a thousand days. you do not have to surf that site again for over 3 years. Now that is worth the effort don't you think?

Now if you do not have the time to surf the net all day long you can chose to upgrade, and they will send them out, and you do not have to spend hours surfing the net for clicks to your site.
