Internet marketing is changing with Google panda and penguin updates happening recently. These days you need more then a poorly spun article with a smattering of keywords and a few backlink's heading back to your website. 

The basics are still the same, for example Good original content is a must and good keywords are also important to. But the game changer comes with quality backlinks. 

One of the best way to get good quality backlinks is to bulk submit some of the things you are doing. This means that you are going to need good traffic tools. 

Now if you want targeted internet traffic, then bulk submitting your website is essential. Now do not confuse bulk submitting content with bulk submitting your website. They are distinctly different. Do not bulk submit your content. In other words your articles. That is considered duplicate content. now if other people decide to share your content on Facebook or other places that is different, but you are not to force the issue.

I mean you must bulk submit your website to various locations that allow you to do so and not be considered duplicate content. To help you do this you need some traffic tools both paid as well as free traffic tools. This is essential to getting good quality organic backlinks. 

Now this blog is just speaking about various forms of traffic that do not rely on Google, or other search engines. 

Some of the traffic tools I am referring to, are things like, Bulk submitter's. headline creators that analyze your heading. Another tool is a classified ad creator, as well as keyword tools. You can bulk submit to places like traffic exchanges, Classified ads and Safelists, Social Media, and Blog Comments, and video submission sites.

Some people say their is no short cuts to internet marketing. In a They are wrong and right at the same time. What I mean by that is their are some things that will help you speed up your marketing efforts. In a sense they are shortcuts. 

   1. Bulk Submitter's. Bulk submitter's are often looked upon with as a bad option when it comes to internet marketing. That is true when it comes to bulk submitting to article directories or bulk submitting to press releases or blogs. It is not good to bulk submit to these things because of what is known as duplicate content. But their are some things you can bulk submit to that is not considered duplicate content. 

You can bulk submit to Traffic Exchanges and Safelists. You do not even have to be a member of any of them either. This is not considered duplicate content. You can also bulk submit to Classified ads, as people are looking their for something anyway, so it does not have to be ranked on Google. Besides some of the classified ad sites are already ranked highly on Google. Meaning that you will begin to rank as well, that is if you post often enough on them.

   2. Another good shortcut is to send bulk emails to safelists. You can do this by using what is known as an Ad Co Op And the one I use is this. 

Your single most important goal once you have found a niche and a product to promote is to promote that product in as many places as possible till you start to get sales. 
And the best short cut I can give you is to stay faithful and focused to that product or service till you start to see consistent results. Do not jump from one product to another hoping to find the easiest thing to sell that will bring in residual income, month after month, find something then leave ship because you did not see results after a month or so. You can not expect to hit it big with out some time and effort from you.  By the way residual income is your ultimate goal. Once you are making a good residual income it gets much easier from there on.  

   3. Promote residual income sites. In other words promote membership sites that you would personally pay money to join, and promote that. Look if you believe in it enough to join then other will too. 

Now don't be afraid of MLM sites either. Really MLM sites are a membership site that actually work better for you, then plain membership sites. This is  because, you are not the only one making money for you. You are making money from the one you signed up as well as making money from the people that they sign up as well, and that can go on several layers deep and long as well. 

My main site is a MLM site that allows you to make money 7 levels deep. and as long as you wish. It is also an internet marketing tool, that people can join for free, and up grade if they want. It has an autoresponder as well as a capture page and other tools people need to make money online.
Remember even if people only join for free to start with, your goal is to create a list because the money is in the list. and lists do not happen over night.

Point 1. Classified ads

It is good to set aside some time to send out some classified ads per day. You are able to send them out about 4 to 5 times per day. 

This can be a little time consuming but you need to have a strategy in place to make the process faster. 

I use a bulk email submitter called Incansoft Adbot. It allows you to send classified ads to about 20 - 22 classified ad sites quickly. 

One of the things people neglect to do is use proper keywords in the ad so it does not show up in Google readily. Remember to write the ad a little different each time so not to have duplicate content.

Now you do not have to rank on Google to still get traffic from classified ads. Remember  people are looking for the ad anyway. They go to classified ad sites to specifically look for things. The best part about classified ads is that it is VERY targeted ads. 

2. Another strategy is to write a blog post about once a day if possible. That way it keeps your blog up to date, and relevant. By posting every day and adding new content, Google and other search engines see this as good usable content that is able to help the person searching for the information.

3. Google+ or G+ is great. If you have not signed up for a G+ account then I strongly suggest you do and have a little look around. 

Before you start adding Aunt Martha to this social network, let me suggest that you only create friends with affiliate marketers or online marketers or people who want to make money online. Do not use this one for general chat. Use it specifically for business. the more people you follow the more will follow you back. so get as many as you can. Try and get 100 people or more that are interested in your niche. the more people you can share your link with on G+ the better your chance of getting a good ranking. AFTER ALL THIS IS OWNED BY GOOGLE. Try and send your link out about 10 times in a day this is not over doing it and you get seen by lots of people especially if you make it public. Make it keyword rich as it is Google and they like keywords. 

Do try and be informative with good relevant information and good keywords, so you will be looked favorably upon by Google. Make sure you keep these things in mind when writing a post on G+

4. YouTube. It is not hard to create a short information video using a PowerPoint presentation and some free software . Firstly you write all the relevant information on your PowerPoint and then make it keyword rich  (not keyword stuffed). Then using a free software called Hypercam. Hypercam video records your desktop. It is best if you have a headset that has a good quality microphone, then after you have practiced reading it out allowed a few times then you proceed to record your desktop. Make sure you capture the main points that you want people to see. Make sure they are keyword rich. Then write a description using some of the notes from your PowerPoint. Once you have done this practice it a few times, and then begin recording. 

Once you have finished recording, make sure you take note as to where you have placed the file and then go to YouTube and simply upload it. Paste the description in it then tell them which keywords you want to use. Once this is done and it can take a long time (sometimes over an hour or more. I have had one take 5 hours) if you use an avi file.  Once you get good at this method it is not hard and you will find that it is almost addictive.    

These are just some of the methods that I use to make money online. It is worth it in the end.

Now you often hear that you can make money online for free right? Well I am here to tell you that that is true and false at the same time.

If you wish to promote other peoples products on the internet for free and get paid for it, then that is called affiliate marketing. All you are basically doing is sharing a link, banners or any other promotional aspect that will direct your viewer to the main site. 

You can promote it via free traffic exchanges, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, with people you know on your own personal email list. you can even promote it on safelists as well. These are all free methods that can get the word out. But if that is all you do you may make some money and you might do OK at it Something you are probably not told about is that you need to get that link out to as many people as possible. A mistake I made when I first started was I would find a product to promote on twitter and I would only promote it once.   and that was it. I would then go to another product and promote that next. BIG MISTAKE. 

Make sure you stick with the one product that you are promoting and stay with that until you begin to find success. 

You know how I said that you can make money online for free that it is both true and false well their are going to be some expenses to running an online business. for example you are going to need to track your link. 

If you do not track your link, how are you going to know which source is generating the best traffic to your affiliate site. The answer is you can't know that, that is what you need a link tracker. You could use bit.ly and it is free but it is restricted in some places. I would suggest buying a good tracker and paying a monthly fee that way you can see your best sources. 

The importance of viewing this is so you can concentrate on your best sources and not waste time with ones that do not work. 

I know one of my worst sources, for traffic is article writing, But as you can see from my blog that I am not the best of writers. The only reason I know this is my worst source of traffic is because I used a tracker. 

So a tracker is one expense you will eventually incur. Obviously that is not free.

Now if you wish to promote something and you wish to create a list because the money is in the list, then you will need a capture page and an autoresponder. These are not free either. Now if you wish to have your own domain name that will cost you and same with hosting. 

The best way to get around this is to just use a free blog, make that your main website. Your blog can be free, but you will still need an autoresponder to capture leads. So that is another expense.       

Now I have been using a great autoresponder that also includes 16 capture pages you can choose from. Unlike other autoresponders, with this one you do not have to pay a monthly fee. Just yearly and it is less then twenty dollars a year.

One of the things in internet marketing, whether it is affiliate marketing or marketing your own product is developing a good strategy so you don't keep getting distracted by everything online.

I personally like to Surf Traffic Exchanges and  Safelists for my traffic but I also need a strategy to keep focused and not get distracted by all the offers out there.

Firstly I add my affiliate URL that I am promoting to about 20 Traffic exchanges, then I begin to surf. I place them in 20 different tabs in Google Chrome then I flick between the tabs before the timer has run out. I do that because I do not wish to waste time looking at all of the websites. Try not to get distracted.

I do not stay on the traffic exchange to view it as this is only going to waste my time.   I also have upgraded in a few at a really cheap price so as not to have to surf all of the time and still get good traffic. 

You surf to get credits. In most cases a credit is worth one visitor to your site. I would suggest that you upgrade in a few so you get faster surf timer and higher credits sometimes free accounts make you surf  2-3 surfs to get 1 credit, but if you upgrade you are often given a 1-1 ratio and a faster timer. let me give you an example. I bought a few credits from a couple of Traffic exchanges and I got around 6000 HITS to my website in one  Day. That was just from traffic exchanges. Now I averages about 1000 Hits per day because I allow my credits to be spaced out over a longer period now. Even during that time I still surfed as well to keep the credits up a bit.

 If you only wish to promote one site then you are often allowed to place your site 3 to 10 times depending on the allotted allowance of websites the Traffic exchanges let you have. This way you get greater coverage. It is often recommended that you promote MLM 

sites because people are often looking for ways to make money and this is the primary way to do in in traffic exchanges. 

I also use Safelists. You can get a lot of traffic from safelists if you do it properly. Most safelists ask for two email addresses. They are usually gmail accounts. One is called a Contact Email and the other is List Email. make sure that you DO NOT USE YOUR NORMAL EMAIL ACCOUNT FOR THIS. Because you will get literally hundreds of emails per day.  They will ask you to verify your email in both the contact email and your list emails. 

The Contact email is the most important for you to have because that is where they will send their SOLO Emails. 

A Solo Email is an email that someone has paid for and they give higher credits. to you when you click.  Remember for safelists (a credit worth one email that you can send out).

If you have never used a Safelist before it can be confusing. I know when I first started out I tried safelists, but I quickly became confused. No one explained them to me and I did not know how to place an email or know how many emails to send out at any time I gave up using them (bad move). I also did not know the difference between Contact Emails or List Emails. Stay away from list emails they will only waste your time, instead just click solo ads in your Contact Email 

In each email they send you in your Contact Email (Which remember has the Solo ads and they gives you higher credits to go through, in some cases up to 1500 credits per solo email) (as opposed to only 10 in the free ones which are in the list email).

In each email they send you their is a link that says click here for credits. What you do is click on that email and wait for it to load then move to the next email you do this fairly quickly so as to not get distracted by the emails. 

I know you are probably thinking "OK but what if everybody does that? no one would look at your site". The thing is, not everybody works to a strategy like this, and that is why Traffic Exchanges and Safelists are so good. With safelists you want to be able to email to at least 100 000 people per day. This may require you to sign up to about 50 to 60 safelists. That is for free members. If you upgrade to a few then you can send more emails and have higher credits and  therefore use less safelists. 

Some safelists let their free members send email everyday and others let you send one every 3 -7 days. This is why it is important to sign up to around 50-60 safelists. Remember if you want less to use with more credits then you need to upgrade a few.

Remember only use the contact email for the contact email section in the safelist sign up form and use the list email for the list email in the sign up form. If you want to create a new email I Would suggest that you use your personal name then the word contact then @gmail.com. For example 

yournamecontact@gmail.com and for the list try using yournamelist@gmail.com this way their is less confusion.

Bulk Submissions, Are They Worth It

Hi in this post I am going to explain the benefits of submitting ads in bulk as well as the dangers.

Their is nothing wrong with bulk submitting however, not everything should be submitted in bulk. One of the things that will hurt your credibility is duplicate content. Some of the things I recommend for bulk submission are things like

1. Classified ads. People go to the ad site to look for what is on offer. You may not get that submission ranked with Google but you will still be seen by lots of potential buyers because they are looking on the site any way. Ad Bot from Incansoft is a great little tool that will help you submit to around 20 classified ad sites. If the Classified ad site is a paid site it will bring it up and you can choose to submit to it or not. BaOnCall Will submit to over 10 000 classified ads for you. I am very happy with their service as I received over 650 hits in only 10 days just from this one paid source. I do not usually like to go for paid sources, but this one I have used a couple of times now and I will probably continue to use them again.    
2. Video Tutorials. You can go to Tubemogul now known as Oneload . You can submit your videos to  about 11 different video sites. just make sure that you go in and change the description section for the videos as it could be seen as duplicate. this should only take about 15 minutes.
3. Blog Comments: Comment Kahuna is a great way to comment on blogs. The thing I like about Comment Kahuna They bring up a huge list of sites that you can view and then make a comment. Remember, comments only take a couple of minutes just make it relevant to the blog and do not be rude or you will probably be blocked by the blog owner.  Also if you do it wrong you are actually hurting your chances of getting any traffic at all. What you do need to do is actually read the blog and make a thoughtful comment on it so you will not be kick off. So be careful
4. Social media: Onlywire is a great bulk method for delivering content to social media sites. The best part about these is that the free version allows you to submit to about 35 social media outlets like Facebook Twitter as well as Linked in. And Quite a few you may not have heard of. But the down side is that you can only use it for a limited amount of posts. once they are up you will need to upgrade  on a monthly basis to keep it going. The best part about that is is not expensive to upgrade
5. Traffic Exchanges: The Best Traffic Exchange bulk submitter that I have found is called TE-JV. If you take up the One Time Special Offer or OTO For Short, then you can get 50 000 credits. Now in case you are not aware 1 credit equates to 1 click on your site. Now if you have 50 000 credits then you can do the math. That means that 50 000 hits are going to go to your site. Do not worry it is spread out of a period of time. TE-JV submit to around 50 traffic exchanges and about 800 other sites. TE-JV has given me since November 2012 - Feb 28, 2013 over 35 000 hits and I have not had to click a single traffic exchange to get that many hits If you want to check it out CLICK HERE 
6.  Safelists are another great form of traffic and easy to bulk submit to as well. you can chose to sign up   to around 30 safe lists and click on the solo emails all day to get the credits you need, so you can post your ads to around 100 000 people or you can bulk submit them to 2.7 million emails per day just fill in the subject line the body and place a link and then hit submit and you are done 15 minutes max. no checking out emails of other people or anything like that. just write the email and hit send. These are just a few That you can bulk submit to. Now the ones you SHOULD NOT TRY AND bulk submit too are things like 

1. Article Directories. The reason is most people do not go to Ezine Articles or any other article directory to find info. You need to rely on Google to rank your info as being keyword rich and good unique content enough to be seen on 1st page. And that will not happen if you send the same article out to multiple sites. in fact if you did that you would probably be rejected my most of the article directories. Now do not despair their are ways around them (and I have a link below to help as well as a video directly below ) but it is not exactly automatic and requires some hard work. You can rewrite a number of the same article and submit them manually or you can spin them but it does require you to do a lot of the work yourself. how ever if you can spend the time to make sure your spun content is unique and readable and able to make sense hundreds of times then  You can submit it to as many directories as possible. Make sure your spinner has the ability to send your unique content out to hundreds of article directories.
2. Press releases: are very much like articles don't bulk submit them. unless you change a large portion of the text.
